Muzli extension I use the muz.li browser extension for design inspiration every time I open a new tab. It is not at all my main news source, but I occasionally read some news stories. After clicking on a story about Grant Imahara’s passing, I glanced back at the muz.li page, where I was enthusiastically greeted with a social sharing prompt: Nice! Maybe your friends will also enjoy this? Ouch. Now, muz.li is all about design inspiration. It makes sense to adopt an upbeat and passionate tone to share a colour palette or an inspiring portfolio. Problem The team reported a large number of support requests to delete their account or change their email address. They sometimes offered feedback as to why they were deleting the account, but those reports were not counted or actioned further. Looking into the product, I noticed there were some account settings available in the web application, but not on the mobile app (where the bulk of the traffic is).
